Annual Service on Vaillant Eco Tec Pro 28

The customer called to say their boiler was due for it’s annual service.

Removed the fan assembly and burner case to find that the burner was heavily contaminated with debris.

Thoroughly cleaned with chemicals and a stiff brush and flushed the burner several times with clean water.

Thoroughly cleaned out the condensate trap which was heavily contaminated with deposits and cleaned the ignition electrodes with webbed abrasive.

Air dusted the fan and all visual components and inspected the flue and flue fixings were present and correct.

A visual inspection and check of the boiler service was carried out, followed by a gas safety check and a flue gas analysis.
